The protection of the third age in Greece and the other countries of the European Union: past, present and future.

This work was written with a double purpose. First, to study the social protection frameworks for the their age as far as our country and other  EU countries  are concerned, because Greece is part of a wider framework of political, economic and cultural cooperation and interaction. Second, to highlight possible interventions that can be made in various areas to improve the protection of the elderly and to enable the reader to have a measure of comparison for the protection afforded to older people in Greece and In the other EU countries, as well as assess their situations and importance and consciously place oneself in relation to this. .
