INTERLINKS: Governance and finance of LTC across Europe.Overview report

This INTERLINKS report addresses the difficult issues of how LTC is governed and financed in a variety of EU countries. It underlines the problems of comparing widely different systems, concepts and data on LTC systems and discusses ways of integrating  formal and informal care provision, social and health care, as well as public, private and NGO services. A selection of country practical examples and methods of financing LTC are described. The lack of Greek data reflects the ‘invisibility’ of LTC in the policy of successive governments.
