In the framework of the project entitled “Development of 13 General Practice Guidelines for the Management of the Most Common Diseases and Health Conditions in Primary Health Care” of the Operational Program “Administrative Reform 2007-2013”, this report refers to the Guidelines for General Medicine. As a result of a systematic search of bibliography and agreement with representatives of Scientific Societies (Hellenic Foundation for Osteoporosis), doctors (Hellenic Society of General Medicine) and nurses (Nursing Union Of Greece), patients and representatives of central / regional administration as well as European networks. This project used methodology developed within the framework of this project and is a synthesis of proven experiences and technologies from America, Europe and Australia. This publication presents the results of the systematic review completed by the Osteoporosis Working Group.
